We are looking forward to an enforced break for a few weeks with Rod still recovering and the Junkyard Sons wives insisting on some time away, but fear not we will return in a matter of weeks with a headline gig at The Brunswick in Hove on the 15th September!
Last night saw the very first Rock night at the Bridge with incredible sets from both Junkyard Sons and Bad Billy Band. We kicked off the evening as the sun began to set on the wonderful backdrop of the Adur in the huge beer garden of The Bridge with a extended set of all our classics and new songs playing some that haven't been heard (or played!) for quite a while, a nostalgic set for some and certainly got the audience up and dancing! The South East MAG rally was revved up by the appearance of Junkyard Sons on Saturday afternoon - our high octane thrill ride once again entertained those in attendance and certainly got the crowd rocking'. Our bassist Rod was rather drugged up fighting off a chest infection so stayed seated for most of the set but the 'Sons still busted out a heavy Blues Rock set and debuted a couple of new numbers that seemed to go down well!
